SUNSHINE M9T-B11 Trinocular Stereo Microscope, Silver

A microscope that's set up badly causes neck and eye strain within an hour. The SUNSHINE M9T-B11 is a trinocular stereo microscope for phone board repair, and this listing is the silver finish.

The kit contains the microscope, an eyepiece set, a stand and working base, LED lighting and an accessory pack. Magnification is adjustable, and the third port accepts an external camera or display system, which you buy separately.

Where the M9T-B11 helps

• Cracked joints on charging and audio ICs.

• Lifted or damaged pads after chip removal.

• Broken traces that need jumper wires.

• Shorted parts hidden among tiny components.

Setting up for long sessions

Sit so your back is straight and bring the eyepieces to your eyes, not the other way round. Adjust the distance between eyepieces until you see one round image, then focus each eye separately if the eyepieces allow it. Keep your forearms resting on the bench for steady hands.

The listing doesn't give the zoom range, working distance or eyepiece specs, so ask for them before buying. The same model is sold in black and blue.
