SUNSHINE M8T Ultra Trinocular Stereo Microscope, Blue

Training a new technician is easier when they can see what you see. The SUNSHINE M8T Ultra in blue has a trinocular port for a camera, so a trainee can watch your work on a screen.

The kit includes the microscope, an eyepiece set, a stand and base, LED lighting and accessories. The listing describes smooth magnification changes between a wide board view and component-level detail. A camera and display are sold separately.

Teaching moments

• Spotting a cracked joint that looks fine by eye.

• Showing how a damaged pad differs from a good one.

• Tracing a short to a single faulty part.

• Demonstrating jumper wire repair on a broken trace.

Tips for a training bench

Use a large monitor at the trainee's eye level and keep the camera's view slightly wider than yours, so they can follow your hand movements. Talk through each step before you touch the board.

The listing doesn't give zoom range, working distance or camera adapter size. The same model is listed in silver. Record short clips of tricky steps so trainees can review them later.
