SUNSHINE M8T Ultra Trinocular Stereo Microscope, Silver

Choosing between microscope models is hard when the listings read alike. The SUNSHINE M8T Ultra is a trinocular stereo microscope in silver that SUNSHINE sells alongside its M9T-B11, and the listing doesn't say how the two differ.

What's confirmed: smooth adjustable magnification, a stereo optical path, a trinocular port for an external camera or display, LED lighting, and a kit with the microscope, eyepieces, stand and base, and accessories.

Jobs for the M8T Ultra

• Failed BGA joints on CPUs.

• Broken traces under a shield.

• Damaged connector pins.

• Shorted capacitors on crowded boards.

Questions for the seller

Ask for the zoom range, working distance at top zoom, eyepiece field number and the camera adapter size. Working distance matters most for repair: you want room for a soldering iron and hot air nozzle under the objective.

Once you have those, compare them against a model with full published optics, such as the 2UUL MC7060-A1. The M8T Ultra is also listed in blue. If the seller can't supply figures, test the working distance yourself on arrival by checking that your iron and tweezers fit comfortably at top zoom.
