Mijing AP-11 AirPods Repair Fixture

The Mijing AP-11 is a metal fixture that holds a single AirPods earbud (not the case) during battery, speaker and adhesive repairs.

It fits AirPods 1 and 2, AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro (1st gen). It measures 68.59 x 63 x 35 mm and weighs 255 g, with a non-slip base. Mijing notes that the AP-11 holds earbuds for internal work, while the MS1-AP is a heating mould for softening adhesive.

Earbud repairs it covers

• A battery that drains quickly or won't charge.

• A speaker that is weak, distorted or muffled.

• A shell that has cracked or lifted.

• Debris or corrosion in the speaker grill.

Using the AP-11

Seat the earbud in the fixture so the seam you are opening faces up. Keep blades shallow near the battery and stop if it swells or warms. When resealing, use fresh adhesive and hold the halves in the fixture while it sets.

If you need to soften glue first, pair the AP-11 with a heating fixture such as the MS1-AP, then move the earbud across.
