The iPhone XS Max is a big phone that often charges while being used: propped on a pillow for a movie, gaming with the cable hanging off the bottom, following directions in the car. All of that puts sideways strain on the Lightning port, and over the years it shows.

This flex fits the iPhone XS Max and carries the Lightning connector with its charging, data and microphone connections. Choose Original New or Original Pull, in Gold, Silver or Space Grey.

When the XS Max port flex is the culprit

If the plug now feels loose, charging stops when you move the phone, your computer won't connect or callers say you sound muffled, the port flex is the usual fix. Liquid damage can corrode the port, and a cable bent hard while plugged in can crack the connector.

Check the port for lint and try another cable before ordering. If a wireless charger works but cable charging doesn't, the flex is almost certainly the cause. Original Pull is the lower-priced choice for an older phone.
