iPhone 14 / 14 Plus / 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max Charging Port Flex

Picture an iPhone 14 Pro that charges overnight one day and ignores the cable the next. You've cleaned the port and swapped chargers, and it still drops the connection whenever the phone moves. That points to a worn charging port flex.

This listing offers the charging port flex for all four iPhone 14 models, each in the colours the listing names. The 14 and 14 Plus options are Purple, Midnight, Starlight, Red, Blue and Yellow. The 14 Pro and Pro Max options are Space Black, Silver, Deep Purple and Gold. No maker is named, so it's sold as aftermarket, and the listing doesn't list the other parts on the flex.

Signs it's time

• Charging that stops and starts when the cable moves.

• A loose Lightning port that won't grip the plug.

• The phone isn't recognised by a computer.

• Liquid damage or corrosion at the bottom edge.

Getting it in

The bottom of the phone has to be stripped to reach the port, including the speaker and the brackets around it. Disconnect the battery first and keep track of the small screws.

When the new flex is in, try a charger, a computer and a phone call before you close everything up. Pick the option that matches your model and the colour of your frame, since the four sizes don't swap.
