Open Settings > General > About and tap the Part Number line to see the model number (it starts with A). It is also printed in small type on the back of the iPad.
The iPad mini models share some parts but not all. Every product here lists the exact models it fits, so check that list rather than the photo.
Board-level ICs need microsoldering gear: hot air or a preheater, flux and a stencil to reball the chip.
On many models the charging flex also carries microphones or antenna contacts, so compare it with the old part before you fit it.
Disconnect the battery before you work near the board, and replace a swollen battery straight away rather than reusing it.
Screens come in different builds. Read the product title for the panel type and whether the frame or small parts are included.
If you're unsure, contact us with the model number before ordering and we'll check the fit.
Apple lists A2133, A2124, A2126, A2125 for the iPad mini 5. Any of these can use the parts on this page unless a product says otherwise.
Open Settings > General > About and tap the Part Number line to see the model number (it starts with A). It is also printed in small type on the back of the iPad.
Some do and many don't. Each product page lists every model it fits; if the iPad mini 5 isn't on that list, the part isn't sold as compatible with it.
Apple released it in 2019.
