SUNSHINE S-918M Multi-Function Separator

Removing a curved screen from its frame is a two-handed job that a single suction cup can't manage. The SUNSHINE S-918M separates screens and removes frames, with two vacuum pumps and upper and lower suction cups.

It heats from 0 to 140°C at ±5°C, with a heating tube, and is rated 500 W on 110 or 220 V. The lower cup is 165 x 75 mm and the upper 84 x 44 mm. The frame is cold-rolled steel with aluminum alloy, about 340 x 270 x 300 mm and 5 kg. The platform adjusts in position and angle.

When you'd use it

• A curved screen that is cracked and stuck to its frame.

• A bent frame being removed from the display.

• Broken glass on a working OLED.

• OCA that tears when separated by hand.

Tips

Set a temperature that suits the screen and glue, not the maximum. Check both cups hold before you pull, and lift slowly.

Pick the EU or AU 220 V or the US 110 V version to match your mains.

Before ordering

At about 5 kg and 340 mm wide, the S-918M needs a solid, dedicated spot on the bench. It suits shops that handle curved screens and frame removal often; for flat screens alone, the lighter S-918K or S-918L Pro is enough.
