Details

A handheld UV lamp leaves soft spots where the light didn't reach. The REFOX RM22 Mini is a compact enclosed UV box for curing waterproof glue and OCA evenly on one bench.

It measures 25.3 x 25.3 x 14.7 cm and weighs 6 kg, with one-button operation and an enclosed chamber that keeps UV inside. It comes with a silicone pad and power cord, in EU or UK 220 V or US 110 V versions.

When the RM22 helps

  • A water-damaged phone being resealed with waterproof glue.

  • Loose back glass that won't stay seated until the glue sets.

  • OCA that stays soft at the edges, leaving faint spots under new glass.

  • A cracked frame bond that failed and has been reglued.

Tips

Place the part flat on the silicone pad, close the lid and follow the glue maker's curing time. Check one part before doing a batch.

The RM22 suits a single technician; for many parts at once, the RM26 is the larger REFOX box. The listing doesn't state UV wavelength, so confirm it matches your glue.
