SUGON 55G Cordless Soldering Iron Station

A cord dragging across the board can knock a tiny component off its pads just as the solder melts. The SUGON 55G takes the cord out of the way: its handle runs on a built-in lithium battery, weighs 55 g, and charges by contact when it sits on the station.

The battery is rated DC 11.1 V (12.6 V when full) at 250 mAh. The station can run from mains or a Type-C charger, and the range is 100 to 450°C (212 to 842°F). Software adds Celsius/Fahrenheit switching, temperature compensation, buzzer alerts, display switching, handle switching and a power readout. A three-section bracket adjusts the handle rest, and heating cores swap without tools, with a storage hole for a spare.
