REFOX RM26 UV Curing Box

When a refurbishing line is sealing a dozen frames an hour, curing them one by one under a hand lamp becomes the bottleneck. The REFOX RM26 is a large enclosed UV box that cures waterproof glue and OCA on several parts at once.

It measures 40 x 34 x 16 cm and weighs 12 kg, with multi-angle UV inside so there are no dark spots, and a closed chamber that keeps UV in. It comes with a silicone pad and power cord, in EU, UK, AU or CN 220 V or US 110 V versions.

When you need a curing box

• Waterproof adhesive around a frame that stays tacky.

• OCA under new glass that needs full curing.

• Back cover glue that has failed and was redone.

• Uneven curing from a handheld lamp.

Practical notes

Lay parts flat on the silicone pad with space between them. Follow the glue maker's curing time and check one piece before you unload the rest. Keep the lid closed while the lamps are on.

Choose the RM26 for volume work; the RM22 Mini is the smaller, lighter box for a single bench. The listing doesn't give UV wavelength or power.
