iPhone 16 Pro Charging Port Flex Cable

USB-C port faults on an iPhone 16 Pro look like any other port failure: a cable that won't seat, charging that drops out and data transfers that stall. Clear the port and test with a known-good cable before condemning the flex.

Bench findings that justify the swap

Under magnification, look for a worn or loose receptacle, corrosion or discoloration on the contacts after liquid exposure, and signs of a cable levered sideways. If MagSafe charges normally while USB-C does nothing, the flex is the prime suspect. Video output or file transfer that fails while charging still works also points to the port. A muffled microphone on calls fits the same picture, since it sits on this flex.

The two qualities are priced almost the same here, so Original New is usually the easy choice. Match the frame color so the opening looks right.

Test charging, a data transfer and a voice memo after fitting, and keep the old flex until the customer has confirmed everything works.
