RELIFE RL-C210 Series Soldering Tips

A single tip shape never suits a whole board repair: a fine point for a 0201 capacitor, a blade for dragging solder off a CPU. The RELIFE RL-C210 series gives you three shapes for C210 and T26 handles, each with an integrated heating core.

Options are knife head, curve head and straight head; the spec table lists them as C210-K, C210-IS and C210-I. The tips have multi-layer plating against oxidation and work with lead-free solder. The listing doesn't give a maximum temperature.

Choosing a shape

• Knife: dragging solder off CPU pads and bridged connector pins.

• Curve: reaching joints hidden behind shields or tall parts.

• Straight: tiny components and jumper wire on broken traces.

• Any shape: replacing a worn tip that has stopped wetting.

Making tips last

Tin the tip as soon as it's hot and again before you park the handle. Clean on brass wool rather than a wet sponge, which shocks the plating. Avoid long idle periods at high temperature.

Check that your station takes C210 or T26 cartridges before ordering. Many technicians keep one of each shape so they never have to stop mid-repair.
