Both grades start from Apple's panel and fit the same way, so the choice comes down to price and how the glass looks.

Display faults it puts right

Cracked or shattered front glass, a black display while the watch still vibrates and syncs, dead touch or phantom taps, and lines or flicker after a fall. A screen lifting at the edge often means a swollen battery, which should be replaced in the same job.

Confirm the 45mm case size on the back; the 41mm panel won't fit. Open with gentle heat and a thin blade, disconnect the battery and close with fresh adhesive once the new screen has been tested.

Either grade puts the Series 8 back into daily use with a sharp, responsive screen.
