2UUL WS-035 Tungsten Screen Separation Wire, 0.035 mm

The 2UUL WS-035 is the heaviest of 2UUL's tungsten separation wires, at 0.035 mm, made for thick OCA and strong screen adhesives.

It's tungsten alloy wire on a 100 m length. The thicker gauge takes more pulling force before it breaks, which suits flat screens with stubborn glue, but it needs a wider gap than the finer wires.

Jobs for the heavy wire

Cutting tips

Heat the screen well before cutting. Keep the wire taut and pull at a steady speed. On curved screens, start with a finer wire, since the heavy gauge can stress the panel edge.

Use the WS-035 for flat screens and heavy glue; the WS-028 is the everyday gauge and the WS-015 handles tight curved panels. Store the jar sealed in a cool, dry place, and cut off any kinked length before the next screen, since a kink is where heavy wire usually breaks.
