The XZZ (Xinzhizao) middle-layer reballing platform holds the interposer of a stacked iPhone board steady and lines up a model-specific stencil for reballing.
You can buy the universal platform alone, single stencil platforms for iPhone X to 11 Pro Max or the 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17 series, or a whole set with the platform and iPhone X to 16 Pro Max stencils. It's made from heat-resistant alloy with stainless steel stencils.
When it's needed
A mid frame with missing balls after separation.
Cracked interposer joints causing no power.
Pads damaged during separation that need rebuilding.
A layer that shifts while you reball it by hand.
Choosing the right option
The whole set covers X to 16 Pro Max; add the 17 series stencil platform if you repair iPhone 17 boards. If you already own the platform, buy only the generations you need.
Clean the stencils with alcohol after each job and keep them flat so the holes stay aligned. Clamp the mid frame gently, because a thin interposer bends under too much force and then won't sit flat for the stencil.
