The Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra came out together, but their backs are three different shapes, and the Ultra's camera layout is completely different. When a back glass cracks, picking the right version matters more than the price.

This aftermarket back glass comes with the camera lens pre-installed, for the S22 (SM-S901), S22+ (SM-S906) and S22 Ultra (SM-S908), in a range of colors.

Before you replace the back

Check the model number in Settings, then choose the version and color. Common reasons for replacing the back are glass cracked from a drop, shattered corners that cut fingers, and a damaged camera lens that blurs photos. Because the lens comes fitted, replacing the back also takes care of a scratched lens cover.

The old glass is bonded with adhesive, so heat, a suction cup and picks are needed, along with new adhesive. Go slowly around the camera, and keep the wireless charging coil underneath safe from sharp tools. Wear eye protection, since cracked glass splinters.

With the right version on, the phone looks new again, and the lens is protected.

Keep the phone dry after the repair, because water resistance can't be guaranteed once it has been opened.
