MacBook Air 13" A2179 A1932 (2019-2020) LCD Screen Display Assembly

Closed your MacBook Air on something small and found a cracked screen when you opened it again? It happens a lot with this generation: a USB stick, earbuds or a pen on the keyboard is all it takes. The good news is that this display assembly is listed for both the A1932 and the A2179 MacBook Air.

It's an aftermarket LCD screen display assembly in S+ Grade, with Silver, Space Grey and Rose Gold options to match the lid.

Other signs the screen needs replacing

Lines across the picture, dark patches, a display that flickers when you move the lid and a screen that stays black while the Mac is clearly running all point to the display. Liquid spills can damage it too. To be sure, plug in an external monitor; if that looks fine, the built-in screen is the problem.

Check the model number printed on the bottom case. The battery should be disconnected before the display is removed, so this is best done by a technician.

Pick the color closest to your lid, and your Air is back to a clean, clear screen.
