Details

The iPhone 15 Plus brought USB-C to a large non-Pro iPhone, and some boards come in with damage around the charging circuitry that goes deeper than a component swap. This CNC-machined donor board for the 15 Plus lets you rebuild a board in that state.

Three variants exist here: a top half lacking NAND, and US or EU bottom halves. It's a donor PCB for reconstruction and data recovery.

When it's worth using

Burnt traces around a shorted charging circuit.
Board layers damaged by heat.
Corrosion that reached internal layers.
Data recovery from a dead 15 Plus.

Practical points

Confirm the extent of the damage with diode readings against a known-good board. Then plan the parts you'll move and match the region version to the phone.

Rejoin the board after the transfer and test it on a bench supply. Check USB-C charging, the display and cellular service before closing the phone. Also listen for the speaker, test both microphones and confirm Face ID, because these depend on connections that pass through the rebuilt board.
