Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 / Flip 6 Front Camera Replacement

When a Galaxy Z Flip is open on a table for a video call, it's the front camera in the inner screen doing the work. If that camera shows a black picture, a blurry face or an error, calls and selfies with the phone open stop working, even though the rear cameras are fine.

This aftermarket front camera fits the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (F731) and Flip 6 (F741). It doesn't fit the Flip 4.

Common front camera faults

Typical cases are a black or frozen picture when switching to the front camera, blurry images that don't clear up, video apps that can't find the camera, and failure after a drop or moisture. A scratched or damaged area of the inner screen over the camera can also blur selfies, so check that first.

Reaching the front camera means opening the phone, so heat, picks and new adhesive are part of the job. Test it in the camera app and a video call app before final assembly.
