Match the model number printed on the device (Settings → About, or on the back) before ordering.
Pitch drift is easy to spot on a Mavic 3: you set the camera to look at the horizon and it slowly sinks, or it shakes when tilting. The pitch motor drives the camera's up-and-down movement, and crashes or wear can leave it noisy, weak or dead.
This gimbal pitch motor is listed for the DJI Mavic 3. No maker is named; it's sold as aftermarket.
Calibrate the gimbal on a level surface and recheck.
With the drone off, tilt the camera gently by hand and feel for roughness or stiffness.
Inspect the pitch arm for bends and the gimbal flex for damage.
Note any noise from the pitch axis during flight.
Protect the camera lenses and keep the flex cables clear while you work. Keep screws sorted by position.
Calibrate again afterward and test the full tilt range in DJI Fly, then record a clip while tilting slowly. A Mavic 3 pitch motor is also offered as an option on a combined yaw/pitch/roll listing, so compare prices and photos before ordering.
