A common bench scenario on the Mavic 3: the drone flies perfectly after a gimbal repair, apart from one new front vision error that wasn't there before. The usual cause is the thin cable for the upper front sensor, creased when the shell goes back together, and it's why this small cable exists as a spare.
This flex cable links the upper front vision sensor to the main control board in the DJI Mavic 3. It's sold as aftermarket because the listing names no maker.
Front vision errors that began after the drone was opened.
Warnings that come and go with vibration or handling.
A visibly creased, torn or partly seated flex.
Before closing any repair, check that every vision flex lies flat in its channel. When fitting this cable, release connectors with a plastic tool, line the new cable up squarely and press each end home evenly. Calibrate the vision system and test forward sensing slowly afterward.
A new cable is a cheap way to clear the fault without buying a sensor.
