2UUL SD21 KAKA Torque Screwdriver, Pentalobe 0.8 mm

The 2UUL SD21 KAKA is a single torque screwdriver fitted with a Pentalobe 0.8 mm tip, the size used for iPhone bottom screws.

It has adjustable torque control, a magnetic, replaceable tip and a high-strength steel build, at about 41 g. Its torque setting is what separates it from a plain Pentalobe driver: it slips at the set force instead of letting you keep turning until the head strips. One driver comes in the box.

When to use the SD21

• Bottom screws that are stripped from a previous repair.

• A screen replacement where the bottom screws come out first.

• Battery jobs where screws are lost and later found missing.

• Overtightened screws that damaged the frame threads.

Tips

Power the phone off, seat the tip squarely and set the torque before tightening. Turn smoothly with steady pressure, and stop when the driver slips. Clean the tip after use and replace it once the lobes look rounded.
