2UUL PW09 Power One One-Click Boot Cable for iPhone 12 to 16 Pro Max

Booting a bare iPhone logic board usually means shorting the power pad with tweezers, which is fiddly and risks a slip onto the wrong point. The 2UUL PW09 Power One puts that on a button instead.

The PW09 is a one-click boot cable from 2UUL for iPhone 12 to 16 Pro Max boards, excluding the iPhone 16e. It has a control module with a boot button, a dual-socket dock, four USB-C ports and LED indicators: green for power input and red for boot status. The package includes the main unit, eight model-specific FPC connectors and red and black alligator clips.

When the PW09 speeds things up

• Booting dead boards for current testing.

• Finding shorts without fitting a battery.

• Keeping a board powered through soldering and BGA work.

• Repeated power cycling while chasing an intermittent fault.

Fit and setup

Choose the FPC connector for the model, connect the clips to your bench supply and set the voltage for the phone. Watch the LEDs: green confirms input power, and red shows the boot state.

The 16e isn't supported, and older iPhones need a different cable, such as the 2UUL PW05. Keep a low current limit on the supply while testing an unknown board, and press the button only once the connector is fully seated.
