Getting the right part
Open Settings > General > About and tap the Part Number line to see the model number (it starts with A). It is also printed in small type on the back of the iPad.
The iPad (standard) models share some parts but not all. Every product here lists the exact models it fits, so check that list rather than the photo.
FPC connectors are soldered to the board. Match the pin count and check if you need the board side or the flex side.
On many models the charging flex also carries microphones or antenna contacts, so compare it with the old part before you fit it.
Board-level ICs need microsoldering gear: hot air or a preheater, flux and a stencil to reball the chip.
If you're unsure, contact us with the model number before ordering and we'll check the fit.
