SUNSHINE SS-6508T Ultrasonic Cleaner for Phone Motherboard Repair

Imagine a shop that gets three or four liquid-damaged phones every week. Cleaning each board by hand with a brush and alcohol takes a long time and still misses residue under the chips. A countertop ultrasonic cleaner does the deep cleaning while the technician gets on with other work.

The Sunshine SS-6508T runs at 40 kHz and 100 W. Its stainless steel tank measures 153 × 87 × 65 mm and holds 800 ml. The timer is set with touch controls and runs from 1.5 to 30 minutes. The whole unit measures 177 × 110 × 128 mm, and a power cable and filter mesh are included.

When it's worth running

Practical notes

Remove anything that shouldn't go in the bath, such as batteries, screens, cameras and speakers, before you start. Put the board on the filter mesh and set the time. Afterwards, dry it completely before powering it on.

Change the solution regularly, because liquid that has gone cloudy and dirty cleans noticeably less well.
