Screen Assembly for Valve Steam Deck

The Steam Deck is a handheld that travels, which puts its screen at risk. A drop or a knock in a bag can crack the glass, leave dead pixels or stop touch from working, and a complete screen assembly is the most direct fix.

This listing sells a complete screen assembly with display and touch panel combined, for the Valve Steam Deck. It comes in four options: high-definition LCD, anti-reflective LCD, high-definition OLED and anti-reflective OLED. The listing gives a 1280 × 800 resolution and a 7.0-inch size.

When the screen needs replacing

• Cracked glass after a drop.

• Dead pixels, lines or abnormal images.

• Touch that doesn't respond.

• A display damaged by pressure in a bag.

Choosing and fitting

Valve sells the Steam Deck in LCD and OLED models, and they use different screens, so choose the option that matches your model. Disconnect the battery before you start, and remove the old screen carefully to avoid damaging the connectors and cables.

Test the display and touch before final assembly, checking for dead pixels, even brightness and touch response across the whole screen. Once everything checks out, close the case and run a game to confirm.
