iPhone 15 Pro Rear Camera Assembly (48MP Main, Ultra Wide & Telephoto)

On the iPhone 15 Pro, the main, ultra wide and telephoto cameras sit together on a single bracket, aligned to the lens openings in the back glass. When one of them fails after a drop, the whole assembly is usually replaced, because the cameras are built as one unit and calibrated to sit in exactly the right place.

This rear camera assembly is listed as Original (OEM) and is made for the iPhone 15 Pro only, not the 15 Pro Max. The full camera details are in the specs.

Why owners replace the assembly

Typical cases are a black picture on one or more lenses, blur that remains with clean and undamaged lens glass, an image that shakes or a module that buzzes, and a camera that fails to switch between lenses. Liquid damage and hard drops are the usual causes.

Check the model number before ordering (A2848, A3101, A3102 or A3104). Fitting it requires opening the phone, and the job suits someone comfortable with iPhone repairs. Test each lens, focus, zoom, flash and video before closing up. iOS keeps a record of replaced parts, so the camera may show in the parts history.

With the assembly replaced, the 15 Pro's full camera range is back in use for photos and video.
